You can make them sweet with fruit, or you can make them savory with any combination of vegetables, herbs, and cheese. They’re buttery, flaky, and melt in your mouth. It’s a way to make food that is perfectly imperfect, to get that “rustic chic” look. Most of my dishes just come to me, but baking doesn't feel intuitive in the same way that cooking does - that is until I discovered the magic of a galette.
